Stories of Support
“I was looking for a process where my family, all relevant professionals and I could collaboratively participate in the decision-making process. And there were so many decisions to be made under a pressure of time… [Dr. Goshen] shared knowledge with me, so as to empower me to navigate through the process of decision making…We were able to contact a global network of experts who enriched our judgment of treatment options, to that point that today – half a year after receiving my diagnosis – we feel as equal partners in making any decision.”
Patient diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor
“When my father was facing advanced cancer, my family and I were presented with many options from very prominent doctors and institutions, which often contradicted each other. After each visit to an oncologist we were left confused or disheartened, as everyone seemed to have a strong competing interest. As we needed someone who would help us balance many disparate recommendations, while ensuring that we had access to the best available knowledge in the world (not just in Canada or the United States), I did not hesitate to approach Rango. They were always ready to help us navigate through very complex information, and balance many medical challenges with the myriad personal and family issues associated with a life-threatening disease. They were so committed to us that he did not hesitate to jump on a private jet with my father and me, with just a couple of days notice, to help us explore experimental treatment available abroad, and to ensure that my father was safe. Rango was our guardian angel all along. We now consider them one more part of our family.”

Client Case
Male, 60s | Complex Genitourinary Oncology
A senior executive at a Fortune 500 company engaged Rango following the discovery of metastatic urothelial carcinoma, diagnosed against the backdrop of previously treated prostate cancer. His case evolved into one of profound complexity, involving a rare tumor phenotype, ambiguous molecular signals, and emerging ctDNA positivity in the absence of radiologic recurrence.
From the outset, our team assumed full strategic responsibility for his oncologic landscape—reviewing raw clinical and genomic data, identifying key inflection points, and coordinating global expert input. His care was structured around both conventional approaches and frontier opportunities, ensuring every decision was grounded in rigorous analysis and personal relevance.
We facilitated direct collaborations with leading oncologists in the U.S. and U.K., as well as scientists pioneering TCR-T, VIL, and personalized vaccine platforms. Technologies under consideration included mass spectrometry validation, proteomics, and whole exome sequencing. Personalized vaccine candidates were evaluated in parallel with advanced cellular therapies, including MCENK and T-HANK cells, for which we began preparation of a single-patient IND application—a regulatory mechanism requiring FDA authorization for individual compassionate use. This pathway allows for the use of investigational therapies tailored to a single patient, and reflects the depth of customization possible within the Rhodium framework.
At each step, we prepared targeted briefings and strategic questions, attended key meetings alongside or on his behalf, and debriefed with clarity and candor. When evidence conflicted or signals were ambiguous, we helped him weigh trade-offs—between innovation and certainty, intensity and quality of life, action and watchfulness. Every recommendation was shaped not only by scientific merit, but by his values, priorities, and long-term goals.
Today, the client continues to experience a complete response, remains under close molecular surveillance, and is positioned to act on emerging options as the field evolves.
